Context
Lack of clarity navigating the industry after graduation is a common challenge, especially in jobs with high entry level. Many recent graduates feel stuck and frustrated when applying for jobs.
Alignd is an app that helps users identify their strengths, explore relevant career options, and plan for future growth.
Design
The app was built around a real problem uncovered through ethnographic research, and its technical features were designed directly in response to the user’s needs.
The stacked icon and the name alignd emphasise the app’s organising purpose, helping users align their skills and actions with their career goals.
To reflect the brand’s motivating and friendly nature, I designed a vibrant colour palette with soft gradients, playful illustrations with scribble elements, and a companion character that supports users on their journey.
